Re: The Car (1977) Trailer
Ok showing my age here --but I actually saw that movie with my dad. It remember the Movie theater it was at a theatre long gone at a Coral Springs plaza mall on Sample and University drive.I think it is a school now!! Anyways I recall At the end of the movie everyone beeped their horns in the parking lot - such funny cacophony-- i think the movie even scared me a little. It was more troubling than "Christine" was.

'77/'78 is early for CS!
They were still grabbing up land until about 71.
Some interesting last names here-
First bank in 78, should be a familiar sight-
I think that E-350 is still parked there..
and of course, first cop:
The Chief, bragging at the Red Fox Inn about Satan’s skills.
must've been like Deadwood

Sargent Satan is the greatest name ever to be imagined.
I remember the old Coral Springs Mall aka the Dead Mall. I saw films there too, I remember lots of roaches.. I think I saw 'True Lies' there.

I remember waiting on line at that odd dimly lit entrance to the theater

My bad---I see what you are saying than perhaps it was actually Christine that I saw at Coral Springs Mall.
So then "The Car" was seen either at the Lauderhill Mall, Lauderdale Lakes Mall or The Reef theater.
I guess I could ask good ole dad.
